પાકિસ્તાનમાં ઇમરાન ખાનના નેતૃત્વમાં નવી સરકારની રચના થઇ ગઈ છે. ઇમરાન ખાન બાદ આજે એમના કેબિનેટના મંત્રીઓએ પદ અને ગોપનીયતાની શપથ લીધી હતી. વિદેશ મંત્રીની જવાબદારી મળતા જ પાકિસ્તાન તહેરીક-એ-ઇન્સાફ પાર્ટીના ઉપાધ્યક્ષ શાહ મહમૂદ કુરેશીએ નરેન્દ્ર મોદીને લઈને મોટો દાવો કર્યો છે. સાથે જ એમણે ઈશારામાં ભારતને ટાર્ગેટ કર્યું.

શાહ મહમૂદે દાવો કર્યો કે ભારતના પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ચિઠ્ઠી લખીને ઇમરાન ખાનને વાતચીત માટે આમંત્રણ આપ્યું છે. ઇસ્લામાબાદમાં શપથ ગ્રહણ બાદ શાહ મહમૂદ કુરેશીએ પ્રેસ કોન્ફરન્સ કરી અને કાશ્મીરથી લઈને પાકિસ્તાન પરમાણુ શક્તિ હોવા વિશે વાત કરી. એમણે ભારતને સંબોધિત કરતા કહ્યું કે દુઃસાહસની કોઈ જગ્યા નથી.

શાંતિ અને સ્થાયીત્વની વાત કરતા શાહ મહમૂદે ફરી એક વાર એવું દેખાડવાની કોશિશ કરી કે પાકિસ્તાન પરમાણુ તાકાત છે. એમણે ભારતને સંબોધિત કરતા કહ્યું કે અમે ફક્ત એક પાડોશી નથી, પરંતુ પરમાણુ તાકાત પણ છીએ.

પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીને લઈને શાહ મહમૂદે દાવો કર્યો કે પીએમ મોદીએ એમની પાર્ટીના ચીફ ઇમરાન ખાનને લખેલી ચિઠ્ઠી માં વાતચીતનું આહવાન કર્યું છે. જણાવી દઈએ કે પીએમ મોદીએ ઇમરાન ખાનને ચિઠ્ઠી લખીને પ્રધાનમંત્રી બનવા બદલ અભિનંદન આપ્યા હતા. જેના આધાર પર શાહ મહમૂદે આ દાવો કર્યો છે.
