બોલીવુડના અનેક સ્ટારને હેરાન કરનારી કેન્સરની બીમારીએ હવે રાજકારણીઓને ભરડામાં લેવાનું શરૂ કર્યું છે. કેન્દ્ર સરકારના નાણાં મંત્રી અરુણ જેટલીને રેર કહેવાય તેવું કેન્સર થયું છે. નાણામંત્રી અરુણ જેટલીને સોફ્ટ ટિશ્યૂ સરકોમા નામનું એક દુર્લભ પ્રકારનું કેન્સર હોવાનું જણાયું છે અને બજેટ સેશન પહેલાં જ તે મેડિકલ ટ્રીટમેન્ટ માટે ન્યુયોર્ક ગયા છે.
જો કે તેમને કેન્સર થયું છે તેવી કોઈ અધીકૃત જાહેરાત નથી કરાઈ. અરુણ જેટલીનું ગયા વર્ષે 14 મેના રોજ એઈમ્સમાં કિડનીનું ટ્રાન્સપ્લાન્ટ કરાયું હતું.

અરુણ જેટલી સારવાર માટે અમેરિકા જતા કોંગ્રેસના નેતાઓએ તેમને ઝડપથી સાજા થાય તેવી શુભેચ્છાઓ આપી હતી.કૉંગ્રેસના અધ્યક્ષ રાહુલ ગાંધીએ ટ્વિટ કરતા લખ્યું કે અરુણ જેટલીને સારું નહીં હોવાને કારણે હું અપસેટ છું. તેમના વિચારોને લઈને અમે રોજ ઝગડતા હોઈએ છીએ.જો કે તેમ છતા હું અને કૉંગ્રેસ પાર્ટી તેમને ઝડપથી સાજા થાય તે માટે પ્રેમ અને શુભેચ્છા મોકલીએ છીએ.શ્રી જેટલી, આ ખરાબ સમયમાં અમે તમારા ફેમિલી સાથે 100% ઉભા છીએ.
કૉંગ્રેસના બીજા નેતાઓએ પણ અરુણ જેટલી સાજા થઈ જાય તે માટેની પ્રાર્થના કરી હતી.
