તાજેતરમાં જ ભારતીય ક્રિકેટના તમામ ફોર્મેટમાંથી સંન્યાસ જાહેર કરનારા ભારતના પૂર્વ ક્રિકેટર ગૌતમ ગંભીરને વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીને એક પત્ર લખ્યો છે. જો કે આ પત્ર લખ્યા બાદ ગૌતમ ગંભીરે પીએમ મોદીનો આભાર જતાવતાં ટ્વિટ પણ કર્યું જતું.

ગંભીરે પોતાના ટ્વિટમાં પીએમ મોદી અને PMO (પ્રાઈમ મિનિસ્ટર ઓફિસ)ને ટેગ પણ કર્યું છે. તેઓએ લખ્યું છે કે, “ધન્યવાદ નરેન્દ્ર મોદી આ શબ્દો માટે”.

તેઓએ લખ્યું હતું કે, “દેશવાસીઓને પ્રેમ અને સમર્થન વિના આ સંભવ ન થઇ શક્યું હોત. આ તમામ ઉપલબ્ધિઓ દેશ માટે સમર્પિત છે”.

જો કે ગૌતમ ગંભીરના આ ટ્વિટ બાદ કેટલાક લોકોએ તેઓને ભારતીય ક્રિકેટમાં શેક શાનદાર ખેલાડી તરીકે શુભકામનાઓ આપી છે, જયારે કેટલાક યુઝરોએ કોમેન્ટ પણ કરી છે.

આ યુઝરોમાંથી એક યુઝર્સે આ પત્રને લોકસભાની ચૂંટણી સાથે જોડતા કહ્યું હતું કે, “હવે તો ટિકિટ પાકી”.

જયારે અન્ય એક યુઝરે પત્ર સાથે છેડછાડ કરતા લખ્યું હતું કે, “ડિયર ગૌતમ ડોનેશન તો આપવું જ પડશે”.
