દેશની પ્રખ્યાત ગાયિકા અને ગાયિકા લતા મંગેશકરનું નિધન થયું છે. લતા મંગેશકરનું 92 વર્ષની વયે અવસાન થયું. તેમના મૃત્યુના સમાચારથી દેશભરમાં શોકનું મોજુ ફરી વળ્યું હતું. બોલિવૂડથી લઈને ક્રિકેટ સુધી બધાએ તેમના નિધનને અપુરતી ખોટ ગણાવી છે. કેન્દ્ર સરકારે લતા મંગેશકરના નિધન પર બે દિવસનો રાષ્ટ્રીય શોક જાહેર કર્યો છે. ભારતીય ટીમના ઘણા ખેલાડીઓએ શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી છે. પૂર્વ ભારતીય કેપ્ટન વિરાટ કોહલી, ગૌતમ ગંભીર, મિતાલી રાજ, વીવીએસ લક્ષ્મણ, વેંકટેશ્વર પ્રસાદ અને આકાશ ચોપરા સહિતના દિગ્ગજોએ શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી હતી.
