બુધવારે સવારે પશ્ચિમ બંગાળમાં કોલકત્તા મેડીકલ કોલેજ એન્ડ હોસ્પિટલમાં ફાર્મસી વિભાગમાં ભીષણ આગ લાગી છે. આ ઘટનાની જાણ થતા અગ્નિશામકની ૧૦ ગાડીને મોકલવામાં આવી છે. હાલ આગને કાબુમાં રાખવા માટેના પ્રયત્નો ચાલુ છે.

આ હોસ્પિટલમાં કુલ ૨૫૦ દર્દીઓને સલામત રીતે બહાર કાઢી દેવામાં આવ્યા છે. આગના લીધે કોઈને હાનિ પહોચી નથી.

સુત્રોના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે બુધવારે સવારે કોલકત્તા મેડીકલ કોલેજના ફાર્મસી સ્ટોરમાં આગ લાગી છે.આગના લીધે હોસ્પિટલમાં ભાગદોડ મચી ગઈ હતી. આ દરમ્યાન હોસ્પિટલના પ્રશાસકે અગ્નિશામક વિભાગને જાણ કરી દીધી હતી. સ્થાનિક પોલીસની ટીમ પણ ઘટનાસ્થળે હાજર થઇ ગઈ હતી.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે આગની જાણકારી મળતા તત્કાલ હોસ્પિટલ દ્વારા ૨૫૦ દર્દીઓને સુરક્ષિત જગ્યાએ ખસેડી લીધા હતા.
