મુંબઈના અંધેરી વિસ્તારમાં મંગળવાર સવારે એક મોટી દુર્ઘટના સર્જાઈ છે. ગોખલે બ્રિજ અંધેરી ઇસ્ટને અંધેરી વેસ્ટથી જોડે છે. મંગળવારની સવારે ગોખલે બ્રિજનો એક સ્લેબ તૂટી ગયો હતો.

આ દૂર્ઘટનામાં 6 લોકો ઘાયલ થયા છે જેમાં બે લોકો આઈસીયુમાં છે જ્યારે 4 લોકોને ફ્રેક્ચર થયું છે. જ્યારે ઘણાં લોકોના દબાવવાની આશંકા સેવાઇ રહી છે.

RPFના અધિકારી આર.કુડવલ્કરે કહ્યું કે ઘટનામાં પાંચ લોકો ઘાયલ થયા છે અને તેમણે હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરાયા છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે બ્રીજના કાટમાળ નીચે દબાયેલા હોવાની આશંકા છે.
રેલવે પ્રશાસન, આરપીએફ, સ્થાનિક પોલીસ ઘટનાસ્થળ પર હાજર છે અને કાટમાળ હટાવાનું કામ ચાલું છે. આશા છે કે આવતા ચાર કલાકમાં રેલવે આ માર્ગ પર સર્વિસીસ ચાલુ કરી દેશે.

ફાયરબ્રિગેડની ચાર ગાડીઓ સ્થળ પર પહોંચી ચૂકી છે. મુંબઇ ફાયર બ્રિગેડનું કહેવું છે કે તેના કર્મચારી સ્થળ પર હાજર છે. સાથો સાથ સ્થાનિક લોકો પાસેથી એ વાત જાણવાની કોશિષ કરાઇ રહી છે કે કાટમાળમાં કોઇ દબાયું તો નથી ને. તેમણે કહ્યું કે અમે જેમ બને તેમ ઝડપથી બચાવ કામ કરી રહ્યાં છે.
રોડ ઓવર બ્રિજનો કાટમાળ નીચે પડવાથી રેલવે ટ્રેક પર OHE (ઓવર હેડ ઇક્યુપમેન્ટ)ને અસર પડી છે જેની આવનજાવન પર પણ અસર પડી છે.
